you're like most people had little to no success with them.
Let me tell you that if there is a magic pill or machine that's
guaranteed to give you a flat stomach you probably have to
qualify as a professional bodybuilder to get those shredded abs
we see on TV. The truth about getting ripped abs is to remove
the body fat around our midsection and rest of your body. If
you focus on trying to boost metabolism you will see results
slowly but surely. The beautiful thing about boosting your
metabolic rate is that you burn fat even when you're not
working out.
Just start moving more! The fastest way to boost your
metabolism is to get more active. If you can work out first
thing in the morning you will do more fat burning than hours on
those crunch machines. The reason why morning workouts are so
effective is that you kick start your metabolism which is in
sleep mode until you start moving around. Just like Breakfast
breaks you nighttime fasting, working out in the morning helps
you break your metabolism out of its slow nighttime mode. The
other benefit of an AM workout is you get the benefit of the
"after burn" effect where you body continues to burn fat
throughout the day even when you're not working out.
Eat small regular meals. Ideally, 5-6 small meals per day will
keep your metabolism burning hot like constantly stoking a
burning fire. Eating a lean protein and dark green vegetables
with EVERY meal will keep your sugar and fat cravings to a
minimum. Since lean protein takes a long time to digest it
prevents your blood sugar from going through peaks and valleys
associated with eating simple sugars. Preventing dips in blood
sugar are essential to preventing sugar cravings which is a
sure fire ticket to cheating on your diet plan.
Remember to focus on your written goals in order to indirectly
keep you on your diet and exercise plan. This will indirectly
keep your metabolism high because you'll be less inclined to
blow off that extra work out or eat that third slice of pizza
if you're always thinking about your goals. Write down how good
you'll look when you take your vacation to the Bahamas or what
great shape you'll be in when you start training for a 1/2
marathon.
So if you want 6 pack abs now give your metabolism a boost!
Work out in the morning instead of the evening and get the
after burn effect of AM training. Eat more often so that you
can keep your metabolism burning at a high level all day.
Finally, eat a lean protein with every meal to slow your
digestion and keep your blood sugar levels in check which will
also keep your sugar cravings in check as well.
